Golfing
Carved Out of a ridge at 950 metres above sea level is an award-winning 18-holes golf course at the Awana Golf & Country Club. The 6,155 metres par-71 golf courses possess a variety of challenges to the golfer. There is also mini Golf and driving Range in the vicinity. |

Accommodation catering to various needs abound in the City of Entertainment, with five hotels, namely the Genting, Highlands, Theme Park, Resort, and First World Hotels, as well as two apartments providing over 9,000 rooms and 300 apartments for holidaymakers.
The Genting Hotel, right in the centre of the recreational centre, provides five-star luxury while housing the Casino de Genting where |
punters can try their luck. The Genting Hotel has fourteen restaurants that serve a wide range of cuisines, including Genting's newest fine dining restaurant, The Peak Restaurant and Lounge. The view from this restaurant on the 17th storey is as stunning as the American and European cuisines and selection of wines and cocktails served. After dinner, diners can dance the night away at the Club Studio 98 or have a drink at the cosy Bronco Bar.
The 888-room Highlands Hotel also houses an excellent mix of restaurants. If you're looking for something more exotic, the Middle Eastern and Indian offering at the Spice Garden beckon. The four-star Resort Hotel and family-oriented Theme Park Hotel are all within walking distance to the Genting Theme Park and offer a good variety of entertainment, food, and recreational outlets, making them excellent accommodation choices. |

After Dusk
Evenings bring out the best in entertainment at Genting Highlands resort with high energy performances, and international shows at Genting International Showroom. There are also video arcades, one-armed bandits, cinemas, karaoke lounges, discotheques and other entertainment centres. Genting is also well-known for its casino, the Casino de Genting, which offers Blackjack, baccarat, roulette, keno, French bull and Tai Sai. Visitors must be properly attired. Entrance is prohibited to Muslim visitors. |

| By Bus: |
Genting Highlands Resort operates its own air-conditioned coaches with 18 scheduled services daily from Pudu Raya Bus Terminal in Kuala Lumpur. Tel: 03-2326863 / 2300893. It also runs a free coach shuttle service from KL International Airport, hotels and strategic pick-up points in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya for its hotel guests. For day trippers, there are attractive packages which include transport, meal coupons and theme park entertainment. |
| By Taxi: |
Genting Highlands is also served by taxis and limousine service from KL International Airport and hotels. The fare depends on the pick-up point but expect to pay around RM120.00 one way. |
| By Skyway Cable Car: |
An alternative to get to the summit of Genting Highlands is to take the Skyway cable car at its station located a short distance before the Awana Golf and Country Resort. Operational hours are from 7.00am to 11.00pm and the fare is RM3.00 one way. From 11.00p.m to 7.00am., the older cable car system operates and can be boarded at the station directly opposite the entrance to the Awana Golf and Country Resort. The fare is RM3.00 for a one-way ride. |
